V. Rene Rauch

V. Rene' Rauch went to join the angels on Good Friday, April 14, 2017 at 12:14 p.m.  She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 22, 1956 to Eddie and Reba Chism.  After attending grade school and junior high in Arizona, her family moved to St. Paul, Arkansas, where she graduated from high school. 

She worked at various jobs until she married Arnie, who lovingly spoiled her. 

On August 22, 1987, she married Arnold Rauch, and they lived in Oceanside, California, near Camp Pendleton,  the Marine base where Arnold was head of the motor pool.  After he retired from the Marines they moved to Clever, Missouri.

Rene` never lost her love of the desert and mountains of Arizona.  She enjoyed joking with family while playing cards, red and white carnations, Arnie’s good cooking, and old westerns.  Through the years she collected unicorns, dolphins, and frogs.  Her sassy sense of humor made her a favorite of the doctors and nurses.  But the lights of her life were daughter Krissi and granddaughter Kyrah, who lived nearby, and sending Easter, Christmas, and birthday packages to grandchildren Danica, Brendon, and Eric.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  brother Harry, mother-in-law Barb Rauch and father-in-law Floyd Rauch.   Rene` leaves behind her husband and devoted caretaker Arnie,  daughter Krissi, (Doug,)   step-sons John (Shannon,) Brian and Keith Rauch, sister Rhonda (Nola,) and grandchildren Kyrah, Danica, Brendon, and Eric.  She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with Chaplain Clyde McClain officiating.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Visitation will precede the funeral service on Wednesday, beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
