William "Bill" Pressler Obituary

William S. Pressler was born on June 16, 1923 in Huntington, Indiana.  He was the cherished son of Winfield and Ruth (Dubbs) Pressler.  He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II, spending much of his time in the Pacific Islands.

Bill married Phyllis Dillman on March 7, 1947 in Campbell County, Kentucky and together they were blessed to raise their six children.  Bill loved time with his family and the outdoors.  He would often combine the two in camping trips with his kids.  He also enjoyed hunting, boating and gardening.

Bill spent his career with Honeywell as an aeronautical engineer.  He and Phyllis moved to Branson 35 years ago from Tempe, Arizona. She preceded him in death on November 4, 2013.

Bill entered into rest on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home in Branson at the age of 98.

He was a beloved father to Sandra Stout of Kerrville, TX, William Pressler (Lori) of Young, AZ, Cathy Joy (Keith Traylor) of Wills Point, TX, Linda Shaffer of Branson, Michael Pressler (Carmela) of Show Low, AZ and Karen DeLater of Branson.  He was also an adored grandfather to 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held July 11, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
