William (Bill) Paul Moore, 75, of Branson, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on February 11, 2026.

Bill was born on March 24, 1950, in Red Oak, Iowa, to Lyndon and Phoebe Moore. He was raised in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School in 1968. He continued his education at Iowa Western in Clarinda, Iowa, before transferring to Midland College in Fremont, Nebraska.

Following his college years, Bill returned to Red Oak and worked alongside his father at Moore Electric. He later worked for Bankers Life Insurance and went on to operate Falk’s Ice Cream before eventually making his home in Branson, Missouri. 

Bill’s greatest pride and joy were his two sons, Ryan and Travis, and his grandchildren. He treasured his role as a father and grandpa and was deeply proud of his family.  

Bill had a lifelong love of the outdoors. He found great joy in the mountains and by the water, whether fishing, water skiing, camping, or simply enjoying nature’s beauty. He had a deep appreciation for music. In high school, he played in a band that performed at local dances.  In his early years, he was also active in athletics, participating in track and basketball. Bill always enjoyed spending time with people.  He was one of the beloved Captains at Ride the Ducks in Branson, always having a joke locked and loaded for his guests.  In his later years, he enjoyed golfing and time spent with his brother, Jon, family, friends, and time at the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his sons, Ryan (Keri) Moore and Travis Moore; his brother, Jon Moore; his grandchildren, Ciera (Sam) Kroepel, Taylor Moore, Brodie Moore, and Sydney Moore; and his great-grandchildren, Hayden Kroepel, Carson Kroepel, and Sawyer Kroepel. His family was the center of his life, and time spent together was what he valued most.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyndon and Phoebe Moore.

Bill will be remembered for his love of family and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
