Vivian Pauline Morrison

Vivian Pauline Morrison passed away Saturday July 24, 2021 and will be laid to rest at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery with her husband of 72 years, William Dale Morrison. She was born in Kennett, MO on October 22, 1926 to Albert “Tee” Stanley and Georgia (Willett) Stanley. Dale and Vivian were married on February 28, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas.

Vivian was a Navy wife and operated her own beauty shop out of her basement in Lemon Grove, CA, until they relocated to Springfield, MO.

She enjoyed attending church and singing in the choir, spending time with Dale watching the birds and flowers on the back porch, and enjoyed each Christmas season, decorating the house with many trees and nativity scenes. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale, youngest son, Terry Preston Morrison, her brothers, Albert Eugene Stanley and Gary P. Stanley, and sister, Mary Helen Chatham.

She is survived by her eldest son, Rickey Dale Morrison, Granddaughters, Amanda L Morrison, and Michael M (Morrison) Christian and husband, Brandon, and great grandchildren.
