Victoria L. Shepard

Memorial services for Victoria L. Shepard, 64, Hollister will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM, Branson 1st Church of the Nazarene.  Pastor Dr. Larry White will officiate.  Burial will be at 3:00 PM Missouri Veteran Cemetery, Springfield. Mrs. Shepard entered into rest on January 4, 2022 at Branson Cox Hospital, Branson, Mo.  Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.

Victoria Lea Shepard was born December 10, 1957 in South Haven, Michigan.  She was the daughter of Gerald and A-Dora (Vorce) Cole.  Victoria had received a Bachelor’s of Art Degree from Ashford University. Her field was in English.  Victoria married Daniel Shepard on August 12, 1978 in Bangor, Michigan.  They had celebrated forty-three years together this past fall.  Victoria and Daniel were blessed with two children to this union.

Victoria worked at The Shoppe as a retail clerk, in the Big Cedar Lodge Complex at Ridgedale. She was a member of the Branson 1st Church of the Nazarene. In her spare time, she enjoyed puppetry, making the puppet dolls, writing stories for them to play out, and making the clothes. Victoria was a professional seamstress and enjoyed working at the church doing the power point presentations. Victoria enjoyed pets, cats and dogs.  They had moved to the Hollister area from Virgie, Indiana. 

Victoria is survived by her husband Daniel of the home; parents Gerald and A-Dora Cole of Bloomingdale, Michigan; her children Matthew (Linda) Shepard of Jackson, Missouri; Amber Shepard of Branson; and sister Frances (Marty) Korteway of Mattawan, Michigan.

Visitation will start at 9AM till service time at the church Wednesday, January 12.  Instead of flowers, the family has asked that Memorials be made to the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society, Branson, MO in Victoria’s memory.
