Steven James Curtis

Steven James Curtis, 58, Branson, entered into rest on March 30, 2021. Memorial services will be held Friday April 2, with visitation beginning 1:00 PM and the service at 2:00 PM at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Burial will be held at a later date.

Steven James Curtis was born August 30, 1962 at Rochester, New York.  He was the son of Jim and LoRita (Roquette) Curtis.  Steven moved with his family to Branson in 1978 where he attended and graduated from Branson High School. He then attended SMSU in Springfield.

Steve’s proudest accomplishment was becoming a father to his daughter, Heather, in 1988.  Steve loved his family and friends greatly.  You could always depend on Steve to offer you something to eat or a friendly hello when he saw you.

Steve, was a quiet man, a gentle man, a helpful man, a man with a few words of wit or humor, a man that will be truly missed by all who knew him especially his beloved mother whom he cherished with everything he had.

He was preceded in death by his father Jim Curtis in 2009.

Steven leaves behind his mother LoRita Curtis of the home, his daughter Heather Pena (Daniel), Lawrence, KS., two precious granddaughters Harper and Baby Lirah, due in a few months, two brothers Scott Curtis of Hollister, Kevin Curtis of Walnut Shade, and one sister Betty Wilson of Springfield.  Also, many nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved him dearly.
