Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Sherry Rogers entered into rest at her home in Kirbyville on Friday, April 4, 2025.
Sherry was born on January 3, 1957 in Ft. Smith, AR. She was one of eight children born to Leroy & Mary Adams. She married the love of her life, Steve Rogers on December 19, 1986 in Harrison, AR. They were inseparable, raising their family together, hunting and fishing together and working in their family’s heating and cooling business side by side. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life and she had been blessed by twenty-four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Her love of family was also evident in one of her favorite pastimes, researching ancestry.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy & Mary; brothers, Roy Gene Adams and Benny Adams; sister, Evelyn Adams; daughter, Mistie Underwood; grandchildren, Dakota Rogers and Levi Rogers and her brother-in-law, Jessie Rogers.
Her presence, wisdom and love will be deeply missed by her husband, Steve Rogers of Kirbyville; children, Brad Rogers (Terri) of Omaha, AR, Patrick Rogers (Angie) of Bradleyville, Roscoe Rogers (Kimberly) of Powersite, Amber Rollins (Travis) of Bradleyville and Tyger Rogers of Lead Hill, AR; sisters, Angie Henson of Chester, AR, Rose Jackson of Fayetteville, AR, Lori Hackett of Chester, AR, and Mary Clifton of OK, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with extended family and many friends.
Services will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. and a celebration of Sherry’s life will be at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Coffelt officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Mincy Cemetery.
