Sharon Taylor Obituary

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sharon Taylor, 80 of Forsyth, entered into Heaven on September 10, 2025.

Sharon was born September 14, 1944 in Warrensburg, MO.  She grew up in Georgia and returned to Kansas City where she graduated high school.  As a young woman, she traveled and sang with an evangelist who held tent meetings across the state.  It was while she was involved in this ministry she met her husband, Robert Taylor and was later married in St. Louis.

Sharon was a giving wife and mother, always caring for her family.  She continued serving Christ, traveling and singing with her husband evangelizing for a time and was also devoted to raising the children as work in the oil business took them to Oklahoma and Texas.  In 1998, after numerous visits to her mother in Branson and vacations here, Sharon and her family moved to this area.  She faithfully attended Faith Life Church and also enjoyed going to Hilltop Church of God.  She will be remembered for her love of God, her beautiful singing voice and displaying her artistic talents as a wreath maker as well as enjoying other arts and crafts.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mildred Fleener Sprinkle; husband, Robert Taylor; brothers, Carl Fleener and Jimmy Sprinkle and granddaughter Stevie Nicole Appleton Taylor.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Melody Sue Taylor of Branson, David Taylor of Forsyth, Daniel Taylor and wife Lisa of Forsyth, Loretta Lynn Taylor of Branson, Donnie Taylor of Forsyth and Bobby Taylor of IL; her brother, Clifford Sprinkle of Kentucky; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with funeral services to follow at 12:00 pm and burial in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
