Scott Allen Fitzgerald

Services for Scott Fitzgerald, 80 of Forsyth, will be at a later date at Faith Life Church in Branson.  Mr. Fitzgerald passed away Wednesday evening, March 18, 2020 at his home in Forsyth.  Arrangements are by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Directors, Branson.

Scott Allen Fitzgerald was born June 28, 1939 in Russell, Kansas and graduated from Hays High School in Hays, Kansas.  He worked for Texaco Worldwide and his last role with them before retiring was as a drilling supervisor in Nigeria.  Scott moved to Forsyth from Winfield, Kansas.

Scott married his wife Debra on February 2, 2002 in Eureka Springs, AR.  He was a member of Faith Life Church in Branson where he was active on the cleaning team.  He also enjoyed shooting sporting clays at Ozark Shooters Sports Complex north of Branson.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents Marion Ralph Fitzgerald and Talma Jean (Moss) Fitzgerald, first wife, Jody Fitzgerald and one daughter, Laree Fitzgerald.

He is survived by his wife Debra Fitzgerald of Forsyth; sons, Lael Fitzgerald and wife Linda of Udall, Kansas and Duncan Fitzgerald of Aberdeen, Scotland; daughter, Lasan Newton and husband Willie of San Antonio, TX along with five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
