Ruth Wolfe Obituary

Beloved sister, aunt, daughter and wife,  Ruth Wolfe passed away on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 at her home in Branson, Missouri at the age of 88.  She was born Ruth Sanchez on February 23, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY, twin daughter of Anna Luisa and Catalino Sanchez.  After high school graduation she did missions work in California, Singapore, Houston, and Tulsa.  She and her husband Richard Wolfe whom she married in Tulsa in 1981 moved to Branson in 2003.

Ruth was a passionate lover of Jesus.  She and her twin sister Naomi worked for the Billy Graham Crusade in New York as a Spanish language translator in October 1960.  She was kind and loved talking to people.  She spent half her life traveling the world and the latter part enjoying life in Branson.  

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother Ana Luisa who also lived in Branson on June 1, 2005, her husband Richard in January 2012 and her fraternal twin, Naomi Anselm who passed April 8th, 2021.  

She will be deeply missed by her nephew Michael Anselm, her niece Jacqueline Anselm, her brother in law Richard Anselm and all her church friends.  

She will be laid to rest with her husband and mother on July 31, 2024 by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home of Branson, Missouri.
