Robert Blaine Holder

Beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, Robert Blaine Holder, entered into rest on Friday, September 22, 2023 at his home in Galena at the age of 61.

Robert Blaine Holder was born on January 20, 1962 in Houston, Missouri.  He grew up in Houston and attended high school there.  After High School he proudly served in the United States Navy.  Along with being a father and raising his family, Blaine worked for Brown Shoe Company until he was no longer able to work.

He loved camping and listening to rock and roll music.  His great joys were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and being with his dogs. Blaine loved being on the rivers in Texas County. (Dogs Bluff, Baptist Camp and Boiling Springs)

Blaine was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Moise.

He is survived by his daughters, Teressa O’Quinn (Robert) of Springfield and Alisha Schleper of Galena; father, LeRoy Holder (Faye) of Springfield; sister, Bridgett Baney (Scott) of Lexington, TN and grandchildren, Kaylei, Kyla, Dylan, Ellyssa, Lauren, Braydon, Eli, Lincoln and his great grandson Aurthor.  Blaine also leaves behind siblings, Patti Horbyk (Bob) of Bucyrus, MO, LeaAnne Holder-Arata of St. Charles and Jimmy Holder (P.J.) of Willard and step-children, Billy Joe King (Vanessa) of West Plains and Tara King of West Plains, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Blaine’s life will be held at Faith Fellowship Church in Houston on October 21, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 11AM with a Celebration of his life following at 12PM.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
