Robert Heard Obituary

Robert D. Heard, 82, Reeds Spring, entered into rest on Sunday June 20, 2021 at his home peacefully in his sleep. His family will be having a private celebration of life.

Robert D. Heard was born March 3, 1939 in Drumright, OK. He was the son of Marvin and Jessie (Morgan) Heard. He was raised in California, Robert moved to Connecticut where he met Nan, and they began their family. They moved to New Jersey where he worked for Tenneco and Occidental until his retirement. Robert moved to Reeds Spring then and loved the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Dolores Jeanne Mayer.

Robert is survived by his lifelong love Nan DaViss, their children Robert Heard, Christopher Heard, Elizabeth Deets, Cheryl Heard, Johnathon Heard, and Peter Heard, twenty grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. He will also be missed by numerous family and friends.
