Rhondle "Ronnie" H. Wallace Obituary

Rhondle “Ronnie” H. Wallace passed away on September 30, 2023 in Springfield MO at the age of 87.

Ronnie was born on June 18, 1936 in Bakersfield, MO, to the late Walter Wallace and Emma (Roberson) Wallace.  He grew up in Howell County, attending school in Cureall, MO.

Ronnie joined the United States Army straight out of school. Post military he became an over the road truck driver. He loved it so much he later bought his own trucks and became owner/operator of his own company. Driving for over 50 years, you could say trucking was in his blood.

On April 12, 1980 he was united in marriage to Jenece Darlene Compton in West Plains, MO.  He had resided in Louisburg, MO before moving to Mountain View in 2016.

Ronnie spent his leisure time outside; he loved deer hunting, fishing, gardening, and was an ardent fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. He also enjoyed reading, and was always accompanied by his treasured dog, Angel.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter Shawna Hulbert of Mountain View; stepchildren Tammy Youngman and husband Dan of Bruner, Duane Patterson and wife Katie of Nixa, and Tony Patterson of Springfield. He was a proud grandparent to thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jenece; stepdaughters, Debra Keithley and Joy Estes and stepson Toby Patterson.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Lewallen Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
