Reba Jane McNish Youngblood was born February 2, 1950 in Branson, Missouri. She was the daughter of Granvill L.K. McNish and Ethel May Hackney McNish. Reba lived in Branson her entire life. She graduated from Branson High School in 1967 and worked for 31 years in the grocery business, 24 of which was as the deli manager for Consumer’s Market and Country Mart.
Reba married James “Jim” Youngblood on June 11, 1967 in Branson and they were blessed with 3 children. Reba attended church at Sardis Baptist Church and she was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and cooking and was talented at sewing and painting.
Reba entered into rest on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 70.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph McNish.
Reba is survived by her husband, Jim Youngblood; daughter Rebecca Youngblood Hull and her children Jeffery and McKenzie; son, Andrew Youngblood, his wife Tamra and their son Calvin Levi and son, Philip Youngblood and his son Alexander Shane. Reba is also survived by two sisters, Mary E. Farris and Ruth M. Patrick and her husband Jimmy along with a host of friends.
A celebration of Reba's life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Sardis General Baptist Church in Forsyth.
