Phyllis O. Bogenrief

Phyllis Owenetta Bogenrief, 89, Branson passed away Jan. 28, 2019 at the Pt. Lookout Nursing and Rehab, Hollister. Burial will be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2019 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  Services and burial was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

Phyllis Owenetta Bogenrief was born May 9, 1929 in Alliance, Nebraska.  She was the daughter of Ernest and Mabel (Crofutt) Lamb.  Phyllis had lived in Ames, Iowa before moving to Branson. She had attended the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames. Phyllis enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey, and two sisters Helen Tangeman and Frances Lamb.

Phyllis is survived by her six sons, Brad Bogenrief, Eric Bogenrief and Matt Bogenrief all of Branson; Rod Bogenrief of Lafayette, La.; Doug Bogenrief of Wichita Falls, TX; Mark Bogenrief of Ames, IA., fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
