Peggy Ann (Yahl) Williams was born August 10, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to Donald & Helen (VanRie) Yahl and shared the day with her twin sister Pat.  She grew up in St. Louis attending St. Simon the Apostle Catholic School and graduating from Lindberg High School.  Peggy then attended School of the Ozarks in Point Lookout where she worked in the computer center while earning a degree in business.

Peggy had a long career with McDonald’s restaurants in both Branson and Hollister.  She was known as the “McDonald’s Lady” because you could always count on seeing her smiling face and having her attentive service when you visited McDonald’s.  She truly enjoyed her job and her customers especially the children which spurred her to create the successful “Supper with Santa” nights at the restaurant.

On August 15, 1975, Peggy married Hank Williams at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson officiated by Father Orf.  Peggy was a caring and loving wife and mom.  She was always present at her children’s activities and being a sister, wife, mom and grandmother gave her life’s greatest joys.

Peggy also enjoyed line dancing and being part of Boot Kickers.  She was a great bowler and had participated in competitive bowling leagues.  Peggy was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and The Branson-Hollister Jaycees.

Peggy entered into rest on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home in Hollister at the age of 68.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Yahl; brothers, Joe and Jim; twin sister Pat; sisters, Mary and Sue; and an infant daughter Heidi.
