Adored sister and friend, Peggy Sides, entered into Heaven on October 16, 2024 at the age of 80.

Peggy was born in Kennett, Missouri on August 5, 1944.  She spent her young life in Kennett, graduating high school there.  After high school she moved to Memphis, TN where she married her loving husband Eddie Sides. She worked at WMCT TV station and later moved to Branson in 2000.

Peggy was both a woman of faith and musically gifted.  She wrote many religious songs and sang with Country Gospel Ministry. Her love of Christ and love for people was evident in her service at church and music ministry at many different churches. 

Peggy exuded beauty inside and out. She had several entrepreneurial endeavors including owning a floral business, selling jewelry etc. Sharing her testimony and experiences with others. Her greatest love was singing and writing songs. Now in Heaven with her Mother, who was also a singer and songwriter.

The great memories of Peggy’s faith, her love of family and friendship will continue on with those who survive her: brothers, Jimmy Venters & wife Judy of Galena, MO and Bob Venters of Reeds Spring, MO and her many friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Lizzie Venters and her husband Eddie Sides.

Services for Peggy will be Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10:00 am in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with Pastor Kris Jackson officiating.  Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Memorial Gardens, Kennett, MO.
