Nancy Ellen (Sigler) Ford, 71, of Hollister passed away on January 10, 2024. Born on March 4, 1952, in Springfield, Missouri, to the late Earl and Eva Sigler, Nancy was a creative and driven woman.
She grew up in Mountain View, MO and graduated from Mountain View High School. On the banks of Lake Taneycomo, Nancy married her loving husband, Dwight Ford, on August 2, 1975, a union that would be marked by shared endeavors, laughter, and abiding love.
Nancy's career was a testament to her creative spirit and entrepreneurial acumen. With a love for flowers, she found joy and purpose as a floral designer. She also enjoyed working in the greenhouse alongside Dwight.
Nancy’s endeavors also included managing The Yacht Club in Hollister among other properties, where her resourcefulness and managerial skills put her at the heart of the operation.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Dwight Ford of Hollister; her son, Jim Van Bibber of Hollister; and her sister, Margaret Akers, along with Margaret's husband, Roy of Winona, MO.
Nancy's life was a beautiful arrangement of love, creativity and hard work and she left the world a brighter place.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
