Nancy Davis Obituary

Nancy Hall Davis was born in Ballard County, Kentucky on May 13, 1942.  She was the youngest of six children born to Jack & Daisy (Tharp) Hall, adored and spoiled as the baby in the family.  She grew up in Wickliffe, Kentucky where she attended school and would always call home. On October 22, 1960 she married Richard Davis in Wickliffe, they had recently celebrated sixty years of love and marriage.

 

Nancy was a doting mom of three boys.  She was very active in their lives growing up, loved to take them camping and shower them with affection.  Loving the Ozarks, Nancy and Richard moved to Galena, Missouri after their first retirement where they built their home.  They enjoyed countless dates to Silver Dollar City, flea markets and many favorite restaurants when they were not working at the motels that they assisted in managing in Branson.  Nancy enjoyed watching the butterflies and birds in her flower gardens and never turned down an opportunity to shop. 

 

Nancy entered into rest on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Cox Medical Center Branson at the age of 78.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two sons, Ricky Davis and Ronnie Davis; one grandson, Miles Davis; brother, Jackie Hall; and sisters, Mary Marie Cravens, Jean Brown and Christine Hatley.

 

Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard Davis of Galena; son Randall Davis and wife Angela of Branson; daughter-in-law, Connie Davis of Reeds Springs; brother, Donnie Hall of Wickliffe and sister Nelline Giles of Wickliffe.  She was Granny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Adam Davis and wife Kathy and their children Reilly and Cole; Devin Newsome and wife Susie and their children Jaxon and Rylee; Miles’ children, Kaylee and Chloe; Cory Davis; Mason Davis;Jenna McCullough and her husband Brandon and their children Hudsyn, Holtyn and Hadleigh.

 

Burial will be in Reeds Spring, MO at a later date.
