Michael Hayden "Mike" Mansker passed away September 29, 2023. He was born in the bedroom of a farmhouse in Nebo, Missouri on March 30, 1949. He was raised mostly on farms in Missouri and Oklahoma. He graduated from Plato High School and then attended School of the Ozarks, now College of the Ozarks. After college he taught High School English in the Hollister, Missouri school system for 28 years. After retiring from teaching, he started a software development business, Mansker Software, developing sports scheduling and school discipline software for schools. He operated the company for 26 years, closing in 2021.
Mike is survived by his wife, Jan, of 38 years, their blended family of seven children: Mike (Gina) Mansker, Jr of Republic, MO, Brian (Dawn) Mansker of Ozark, MO, John (Angie) Clark of Blue Eye, MO, Keith (Michelle) Clark of Reeds Spring, MO, Tracee (Dean) Brevell of Blue Eye, MO, Lloyd Clark of Hollister, MO and Curtis Clark of Bend, OR and his siblings: David (Becky) Hogue of Salt Lake City, UT, Steve (Dee) Mansker of Tonganoxie, KS, Gail (Bill) May of Springfield, MO and Lela (Jerry) Bettes of Falcon, MO. Mike is also survived by his treasured grand and great-grand children: Lindsay (Trey) Massenberg and sons Kallen and Krew, Micah (Kory) Haught and son Miles, Coral (Nate) Shrader, Cameron Mansker, Karis Mansker, Lisa Cardenzana and children Ryan and Olivia, Cassie (Koltyn) Tranbarger and sons Jared and Graham, Nikki Clark, Dennis Clark, Skyler (Logan) Wilmoth and children Raelyn, Kinslee, Easton and Callum, Grant Clark, Katie (Tyler) Miller and children Ian, Landen and Kinlee, Sierra (Adam) Sugg and daughter Logan, Dalton Brevell, Heather (Daniel) Martinez and children Lexi, Carter, Elli and Houston, Bella Clark, Travis Clark and Anna Clark.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.
