Michael Robert Grassel

February 15, 1964 - March 30, 2019

Mike was born in Hinsdale, Illinois, son of Clure "Mac" Grassel and Mary (Seymour) Grassel. His journey here on earth ended on March 30, 2019 in Branson, Missouri. He was 55 years old.

Mike is survived by his girlfriend Susan Patterson who never left his side, mother Mary Grassel of Florida, brother Rich Grassel and Rich's wife Joni of Florida, sister Marcia Grassel of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, niece Chrissy Agenor and her husband Remy of Florida and too many friends to mention. 

Mike was preceded in death by his father Clure "Mac" Grassel, maternal and paternal grandparents and the one person that made his world go around...his son Ryan Michael Grassel who he loved more than life itself.

Mike lit up the room whenever he walked in and usually had everyone cracking up in just a couple of minutes. He was a loyal friend to all who knew him. He was an avid sports fan with a special love for the Chicago Bears. He was a lover of music and anytime you saw him in his car you were guaranteed to see him rocking back and forth and singing (out of key) to his favorite songs.

On March 30th, those of us who were privileged enough to know and love him were saddened by his passing but we are comforted in knowing that Mike is no longer suffering and that he is finally with his son Ryan, his favorite football player Walter Payton and all of his favorite musicians who passed before him.

We can honestly say that "The Grass truly is greener on the other side"

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience... We are spiritual beings having a human experience"
