Mary Helen Roberts

Mary Helen Roberts was born on August 18, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She was the daughter of Leandro & Minnie (Aquirre) Morin.  She married the love of her life, Jack Roberts, on August 4, 1960 in Gila Bend, Arizona and they were blessed with two daughters.  The family moved to the Berryville/Green Forest, AR area in 1969 and then to Hollister in 2003.  Along with being a caring wife and mother, Mary owned and operated her own restaurant.  She was a faithful servant of Christ and active member of First Baptist Church in Hollister.  Mary generously served her community as well, volunteering at Cox Medical Center and their thrift store along with the backpack program at Hollister Schools.

Mary entered into rest at the age of 78 on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Cox Medical Center Branson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leandro and Minnie; husband Jack; son-in-law, Glenn Thomas; brothers, Manuel, Lee, Joe and Johnny; and sisters, Lica and Estella.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Janice Thomas and Debbie Rundall of Hollister; grandchildren, Lacie Lynch (Wayne), Tiffany Davis (Steven), Chance Myers (Maggie), Chase Myers (Ashley), Josh Thomas (Jenna), Dylan Thomas (Lyli) and Dalton Thomas (Brittney); brother, Paul Morin (Rosie) of Jacksonville, NC; sisters, Margie Lang (George) of Santa Teresa, NM, Rosie Navarro of St. George, UT; sisters-in-law, Mary Morin and Yolanda Morin along with 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will be at a later date in Berryville, Arkansas.
