Marlene Saelens

Celebration of life service for Marlene M. Saelens, 72, Fairborn, OH was held Monday, Mar. 8, 2021 in  Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Rev. Joe Cross officiated and burial followed in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Mrs. Saelens entered into rest on Feb. 25, 2021 in Fairborn, OH.

Marlene was the daughter of Lloyd and Mae Lou (Thill) Grutz.  She graduated from the Assumption High School in Davenport, Iowa. She was blessed with three daughters.  Marlene was an artist.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marlene is survived by her three daughters Angie Covert, Sarah Saelens, and Brooke Schaffner; one brother Ron Grutz; two sisters Karol Grutz-Hadley and Susan Scott-Dick; and grandchildren. She will be missed by many.
