Marilyn Clevenger

Services for Marilyn Clevenger, 69 of St. Robert formerly of Hollister, will be Monday, March 1, 2021 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM with the service to follow at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be in Eisenhour Cemetery, Spokane.

Marilyn was born on August 10, 1951 in Branson, Missouri to Jessie & Pauline (Hembree) Brittain.  Marilyn was a Branson High School graduate.  On October 3, 1973 she married Norman “Sonny” Clevenger at Indian Point, MO and they were blessed with two daughters.  Marilyn worked many years as a Wal-Mart cashier where her bubbly and friendly personality was shared with customers.  She had a strong faith and had attended New Life Temple in Hollister and Woodland Hills Family Church in Branson.

Marilyn wasn’t one to be still.  She enjoyed being on the lake fishing, taking road trips and shopping.  You could always find joy and comfort being with her, sharing laughs or enjoying her cooking.  Her greatest treasure was her family and she especially loved time with her grandchildren.

Marilyn passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in St. Robert, Missouri where she had moved to be close to her sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Paula Seydlitz of Cassville, MO, and Sunny Fosnaugh and husband Jesse of Branson; sister, Carolyn Secrest and husband Jr of St. Robert and five grandchildren.
