Lucetta Lynne Deering

Lucetta Lynne Deering was born on October 7, 1957 in Strong City, Kansas.  She was the daughter of Darryl & Jae Deane (Nuernberger) Deering.  She married Donald Grimm, Sr. and they spent time in Oregon before moving their family to Blue Eye and Hollister.  Lynne currently resided in Springfield where she passed away on March 23, 2018 at the age of 60.

Lynne worked for Dollar Tree in their warehouse.  She enjoyed working in the garden and making flower arrangements. She also liked to make dream catchers. She will be missed by the family she loved and nurtured.

Lynne was preceded in death by her mother, Jae Deane Deering and her daughter, Jessica Grimm.

She is survived by her children, DJ Grimm of Hollister, Melanie (Joshua) Becker of Blue Eye, Rebecca Grimm of Phoenix, AZ and Cathryn (Chad) Calk of Springfield; her father, Darryl Deering of Sedan, KS; three sisters, Joyce Callahan of North Dakota, Kimberly Murray of Kansas and Shawn Felix of Nebraska; her ex-husband Donald Grimm, Sr. and seven grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on April 28, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. at the boat ramp, end of JJ Hwy.  Arrangements were by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
