Lolita Cavanaugh Obituary
Lolita Cavanaugh, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, at her home in Kirbyville, Missouri. Born in Angeles City, Philippines, on July 18, 1943, she moved to the United States at the age of 29, and resided much of her life in Kansas City, Missouri. It was there she joined the workforce of Dazey Products Company and later she continued her professional journey at Labconco Corporation, where her exceptional leadership skills earned her the role of supervisor, followed by retirement after 30 years. Lolita was also an active member of Lodge No. 92 I.A.M.A.W. machine union.
Lolita will be remembered for her selfless and giving nature. Her doors were always open and a meal ready to share with her family or those in need. She was a spitfire, a hardworking and determined woman who gave of herself and all she had to raise her sons. Her protective instincts were fierce, and her love for her family was unwavering.
Lolita was not only the best mom but she was also an amazing grandmother. She adored her grandbabies, cherishing each moment with them and showering them with love and attention.
She will be dearly missed by her family: children, Gary Goodrich of Kansas City, MO, Thomas Goodrich (Gena Hedgpeth) of Kirbyville, and Dolores Coloma of the Philippines as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters and many other friends she considered family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Goodrich.
A celebration of Lolita’s life will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at Waterfall Park in Independence, MO. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
