Linda Fay Carter

Linda Fay Carter was born on August 11, 1968 in Monticello, Arkansas.  She was the daughter of Jerry Forrest and Dorothy (Woodard) Forrest.

Linda married David Carter on April 5, 1996 in Monticello and they later moved to Branson from Monticello.  Linda worked in marketing at Bluegreen Vacations and Big Cedar Lodge.  She was a member of Church 3:16.

Linda loved the outdoors and was always up for an adventure.  She enjoyed being on the lake, boating and fishing.  She was a football fan and the Arkansas Razorbacks and Kansas City Chiefs were her teams.  She loved spending time with family and friends and was the life of the party. 

Linda passed away on July 20, 2021 at Cox Medical Center Branson at the age of 52.  Her presence is missed beyond measure.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Taylor Carter.

She is survived by her husband David Carter of Branson; daughter Meghan Carter of Branson; one brother, Timothy Forrest of Mississippi, three nieces and one nephew.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Jeramie Henson officiating.  Family and friends are invited to honor Linda and her love of football by wearing their favorite Razorbacks or Chiefs gear.
