Lawrence Owen Spoon was born July 1, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Bill Spoon and Beverly (Black) Strother. Larry moved to Branson in February from Seattle, Washington. In Washington, Larry was active with the Lighthouse for the blind, operated a restaurant and worked as a supervisor in manufacturing. He was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Larry was a great listener and a big Seattle Seahawks fan. He had a huge heart and always made people laugh in any situation.
Larry entered into rest on May 7, 2021 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield at the age of 62.
He is survived by his mother, Beverly Strother of Taneyville, former wife Criselda Golla and his sister Brenda Burgan of Branson.
