Larry Howard Compton was born February 14, 1956 in Branson, Missouri to Alfred Franklin Compton and Opal Murial (Boyd) Compton. He spent much of his life in Branson, graduated from Branson High School and worked in the construction industry here. He moved to Buffalo ten years ago and resided there till his passing. He entered into rest on April 17, 2021 at the age of 65 at Citizen’s Memorial Hospital in Bolivar after a bought with pancreatic cancer.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Opal Compton; wife, Ardith (Conway) Compton; brothers, Howard Franklin Compton and Roy Lynn Compton and sister Darlene (Compton) Wallace.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Wendy Pride and Crystal Roberts; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Larry will be remembered as a man who was a hard-worker and would do anything for you. He had a great sense of humor. He loved his daughters, family and dog Maggie and will be deeply missed.
Burial will be at a later date in Lewallen Cemetery in Branson.
