Kim Shanta Obituary

Kim Marie Shanta was born on November 14, 1959 in Elmira, New York. She was the daughter of Jim Holecheck and Johan Marcoccia.

Kim moved to Branson from Hollywood, Florida. She had worked as a LPN at Rolling Hills Nursing Home and Pt. Lookout Nursing and Rehab. Kim enjoyed arts, crafts and interior decorating. She had a green thumb and loved gardening around her home and volunteered at the Veterans Memorial Garden on West Highway 76. She also gave of her time volunteering with different churches.

Kim entered into rest on Wednesday, July 3 at her home in Branson. She has been cremated under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas Shanta and sister Linda Freese.

Kim is survived by her children, Joshua Shanta of Branson and Alicia Cosolo and husband Tony of Kirbyville; two brothers, Charlie Freese and Jerry Freese along with two grandchildren. She will also be missed by numerous friends.
