Kenneth David Jermyn was called home on January 16, 2026 to join his son, Eric. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Norman & Marion and his older brother, William.
Survived by his family: wife of 41 years, Wendy Jermyn; his children, Nadine (Mike) Chala, Tracey Jermyn, Emily (Sean) Harley and Nick (Michelle) Jermyn. Nine grandchildren and three great grandsons. His younger brother, Larry. And, Ken & Wendy’s two beloved cocker spaniels Scamp and Rookie.
Ken was born May 17, 1949 in Rochester, NY and was a graduate of Gates-Chili High School. After graduation, he pursued a 22 year career with the Rochester Police Department, while always possessing a passion for photography. He was also part of the East Avon Volunteer Fire Department throughout the 1970’s.
After retirement, Ken held several different jobs in security and photography. He also was a chef during his time in Florida. During this time he lived in various states and called Florida, North Carolina, Nevada and Tennessee home at different times. Ken and Wendy settled down in Branson, Missouri where they both enjoyed karaoke and several live Vegas style shows. At this time, he became an ordained minister for Universal Life Church Ministries.
His children and wife invite you to a Celebration of Life on Monday, January 26 at 2:00 at Buckland Park 1666 S Winton Rd. Rochester, NY 14618.
A service in Branson to celebrate Ken’s life will also be announced.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory.
