Obituary

Mildred Kay White, more dearly known as Kay, graced our world from the 19th of August, 1942, to the 14th of August, 2023. A beacon of creativity and faith, she was born in Lee's Summit, MO, and departed from us in Springfield, MO.

Infusing love and life into everything she touched, Kay was known foremost for her artistic talent, using it not only in her professional life as a florist but also in her vibrant paintings. Her deep love for horses, dogs, and gardening was another testament to her appreciation for life in all its forms.

She was the daughter of loving parents George Carter and Augo (Johnson) Carter, both of whom have passed away. She is survived by her beloved husband Gary White of Branson, son John residing in Colorado, and her brothers, Curtis Carter & wife Terry, John Carter, and sister Gay Brown and her husband Ronnie, along with their families, all held a special place in Kay's heart.

Kay was a member of Grace Family Church in Branson and had moved from Holden, MO to Branson seven years ago.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at Grace Family Church.  Arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
