Kathrine Monroe

Kathrine Renee Monroe, 46 of Rockaway Beach, died at her home on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 after a year and a half battle with advanced cervical cancer.

Kathrine was born May 13, 1974 in Bernalillo, New Mexico.  After moving to Rockaway Beach, Kathrine worked for Myer Hotels.  She worked 13 years as the Executive Head Housekeeper and ended her time with them at the Holiday Inn Express on Green Mountain Drive.  Kathrine was also passionate about helping others and participated in food drives for CAM and in Relay For Life with the American Cancer Society.

Kathrine will be especially remembered for her humor, her love of her family …. and annoying her children.  She was very hardworking and loved to clean.  She will be remembered for her stubbornness, her love for music, but more than anything, she will be remembered for her strength.

Kathrine is survived by her father Lewis Weber and his wife Carla; her mother Elmera Patton; her boyfriend of 8 years Michael Ragan; and her children, Harlee King, Jeremiah King, Nicole Monroe, and Misty Weber. She was a guardian for her niece Sierra Lara who also survives her. Other survivors include her granddaughter, Kairi Fotheringhame; two brothers, Michael Weber and Timothy Weber along with her two cats, Ace & Solo; her dog Kai and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Kathrine was preceded in death by her brother Gregory Weber.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. in Dickens Cemetery, one mile south of Taneyville, MO off of Highway 76.
