Services for Judith Lozar, 74 of Branson West, will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 with visitation at 10:00 A.M. and funeral mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Branson with Father David Hulshof officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 24, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses, Kansas. Burial will follow in Grant County Cemetery, Ulysses, Kansas.
Judith Ann Lozar was born June 9, 1946 in Wichita, Kansas. She was the daughter of Roy Downey & Dorothy (Miller) Downey. On February 7, 1964, Judith married Kenneth Lozar in Garden City, Kansas. They lived in different states with Kenneth’s job and settled back in Kansas to raise their children. After moving to Kirbyville in the 90s from Ulysses, Kansas, Judith worked for 911 dispatch in Taney County. She later worked in the radiology department at Skaggs Community Hospital. Judith was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and crocheting as her hobbies. Her love and friendship will be dearly missed.
Judith entered into rest at her home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Dorothy, her husband Kenneth Lozar, Sr. and son Kenneth Lozar, Jr. and one sister Doreen Dunn.
Judith is survived by her daughter, Karin Morgan of Commerce, OK; grandsons, Jason & wife Katie, Leif, Rodney, Jamey and Charles; adopted grandsons, Rickie & Dylan Wood; friends Pat Williams and Wayne Williams; great-granddaughters Kendria and Pasley; great-grandsons, Ayden, Lucas and Elijah; ex-daughter-in-law, Kimberly Lozar; niece, Michelle Martin; nephews, Steve Wise and Larry Wise and great-nieces, Jill and Joel along with several other nieces, nephews and extended family.
