Judith Anne Ebeling-Simonsen, 69, of Branson, Missouri passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday morning, June 30, 2019 at home, surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson on Saturday July 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Father David Hulshof will officiate. Visitation will be in the foyer starting at 10:30 AM. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Private burial will be held at a later date.
Judy was born February 4, 1950 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Anne (Lazio) and Ralph Ebeling. She loved Jesus and was a very devout Catholic. She attended Catholic grade school where she was president of the Blue Bird Club. She graduated from Regis High School in 1968. She enjoyed helping run the family business, Ebeling’s TV in Marion, Iowa.
Judy married Leslie Simonsen on December 3, 1976 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson. Her daughters, Teresa and LeAnne, were the light of her life. She would often say all she ever wanted in life was to be a mom. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Spending time with her family was what she valued most, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. She also enjoyed crafting, reading, arranging flowers, sewing, cooking and keeping her home beautiful and welcoming to anyone who entered.
She is survived by Leslie Simonsen of the home; daughter Teresa Martin and husband Matt of Branson, MO; daughter LeAnne Gilliland and husband LaMont of Branson, MO; step-daughter Lanette Simonsen and fiancé Norman of Ocala, Florida; six grandchildren Emile, Alex, Madison, Mallory, Hilary and Eric; sister, Nancy Ebeling of Hollister, MO; brother Robert Ebeling and wife Kathy of Marion, IA; cousin Joanne Hasselbrink; best friend, Mary Moran; and many other family members and friends who will remember her for her kind and giving heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
