Joyce E. Foley

Joyce Elane Foley was born August 22, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to Roy Reasoner & Katherine (Neiberger) Reasoner.  Her family moved to Appleton City, Missouri where she grew up on their dairy farm.  After high school, Joyce moved to Kansas City to attend beauty school and work as a beautician.  She met Cecil Foley while in Kansas City and they were married on November 6, 1966 at the First Baptist Church in Appleton City.

Joyce, Cecil and their two children moved to Southwest Missouri and Joyce enjoyed being a homemaker as well as assisting Cecil in his sand and gravel business.  They moved back to Kansas City where Joyce held other jobs, working for Revco and Aramark.  She and Cecil also operated their own coffee shop in both Kansas City and Branson where she was a fabulous barista.  She most recently had the opportunity to be a welcoming smile and cashier to visitors at Silver Dollar City and the Branson IMAX Theatre.

Joyce entered into rest on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Cox Medical Center, Branson at the age of 74.

Joyce was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She was the loving glue that held the family together and will be deeply missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Beverly Sileven and Barbara Gunter.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Foley of Branson; daughter Angie Foley of Branson; son Rod Foley and wife Kimberly of Grand Island, Nebraska and three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Noah and Ethan Foley along with multiple nieces and nephews.  

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Directors, Branson.
