John LeRoy Alexander passed away January 8, 2020 at his home in Hollister with the comfort of family. Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (224 Church Rd, Branson) on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. until service time. Bishop Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
John was born July 19, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa to Frank Alexander Jr. and Mildred (Bennett) Alexander. He attended Cattell Grade School and East High School in Des Moines and then furthered his education at the University of Redlands in California. John served his country in the Army National Guard and had a career in aerospace as an executive at Boeing, most recently as the Vice President over their pilot training program in North and South America. When John was away from work he spent his time with his wife and kids. John was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Kristine, his parents Frank Jr. and Mildred, and one brother James Alexander.
John is survived by his children, daughter Joanna and Owen Knudsen, of Branson; sons, Jeffery Alexander of California, Jayson Alexander of Hollister, Jordan and Lloyd Alexander-Holt of Hollister, grandchildren Amanda Johnson, Kylie Alexander, Logan Alexander, and Alex Knudsen. John also leaves behind his extended family and friends.
