Jo Breedon Obituary

Graveside services for Jo Breedon, 85 of Kirbyville, will be Monday, June 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth, with Bill Comer to officiate.  Jo entered into rest on Friday, June 25, 2021 at home with family by her side.

 

Jo was born May 29, 1936 in Reeds Spring Mo. to Doc and Nola (Gentry) Hembree.  She attended school in Reeds Spring and later worked for the United States Postal service in Powersite and Kirbyville.  She married Rex Breedon on February 14, 1956, they had celebrated 65 years together and spent their lives together as longtime residents in the Kirbyville area for the past 51 years. Jo enjoyed the outdoors watching the birds, tending to her flowers, taking care of the home, and being a loving care giver to those dearest to her, she also gave a lot of her time to the community Christian Church in Kirbyville as the Church Secretary along with her many years of involvement with all the church activities.
 

Jo was a loving wife to Rex who she leaves behind.  A cherished niece Alexandrea and husband Michael Nokes with their daughter Jaicelee; one sister Betty Teague and husband Leon of Galena, MO.  Jo will be deeply missed by those of the family she leaves behind and many close friends left with her legacy.

 

 

Jo was preceded in death by her Parents Doc and Nola; Brothers Harold Hembree, Bud Hembree, J.D. Hembree, Bill Hembree; Sisters Maxine Hembree, Irene Keller, Pauline Brittain, Rose Coffelt, Euvella Hembree, Vera Grindy, and Wilma Thuston.

 

 

In Jo’s memory, memorials can be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.  Services under the direction of the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson, Missouri.
