Jimmy Earl Daniels was born September 26, 1934 in Zinc, AR to Elmer Daniels and Rose E. (Richardson) Daniels. He graduated in the 1953 class at Branson High School. Jim proudly served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in April of 1963. He worked for many years at Whelchel Hardware in downtown Branson. Jim also enjoyed time on his farm, raising chickens and gardening. He loved being outside hunting and fishing as well.
Jim entered into rest on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home in Kirbyville at the age of 86.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Delsie “Pet” Daniels.
Jim is survived by his daughter Joyce Barnes of Kirbyville; sister Lorena Edwards of Kansas City, KS and grandson Shannon Barnes.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, January 10 from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. The family requests no flowers but instead donations to Hospice Compassus, 3044 Shepherd Of The Hills Expy Ste 200, Branson, MO 65616.
