Jerry Dougherty Obituary

Jerry M. Dougherty, 69, of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away on December 13, 2023. Jerry, fondly known as Jake or Red, was born to Harold and Jean Dougherty, on July 20, 1954 in Burchard, Nebraska. He served his country in the Coast Guard and spent time singing and performing with his band all over the country. He was a skilled handyman and was known by all who knew him as the guy who could build or fix anything you gave him. He enjoyed spending time with his friends on the ridge, playing cards, shooting guns, and rebuilding old tractors and trucks. There wasn't anything he couldn't do and everyone knew him for his boisterous and charismatic presence. Jerry is survived by his wife Sung and three children, Ben, Michele, and Nickolas. Jerry's family will host a funeral service on Tuesday, December 19th at 10 a.m. The service will be at Lakeland Baptist Church in Omaha.
