Jenny Prewitt

Services for Jenny Prewitt, 72 of Ozark, will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory.  Visitation will be at 11:00 AM with funeral services following at 12:00 PM.  Burial will be in Schupbach Cemetery in Chestnutridge, MO.

Helga Annemarie “Jenny” Prewitt was born in Leer, Germany on May 30, 1949.  She grew up and attended school in Switzerland. After grade school, Jenny trained vocationally in hospitality and restaurant management.   She met Terry Prewitt while he was serving in the Army in Germany and they were married April 13, 1973 in Ispringen, Germany.  Service in the military, took Jenny and Terry to different Army bases all over the world.  Jenny worked for the Department of Defense and earned a Master’s Degree in business management. 

Her most important life work was as a faithful wife, amazing mom and loving grandmother.  She cherished spending time with her family.  She enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle, as well as reading a good book.  If she took time to watch television the channel would be tuned to a game shows, cooking shows, or Hallmark Movies. 

Jenny entered into rest on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Her presence will be missed more than words can express.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margret Rogge. 

Jenny is survived by her husband, Terry Prewitt of Ozark; children Gary Prewitt and Jennifer Prewitt of Ozark and grandchildren, Tyler Prewitt and Lilly Grey.
