Visitation service for Janise Rae Tate, 79 of Ridgedale, MO will be held June 10, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson.
Celebration of Life service will be held June 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Cedar Valley Church of Hollister with Billy Rogers officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cedar Valley Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to lunch after the service at Oakmont Community Rec-Center, Ridgedale, MO.
Janise was born on May 16, 1940 in Branson, Missouri daughter of William Gregg and Elsie Stacey.
She married W.O. Tate on August 20, 1956 in Hollister.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Calvary Temple Full Gospel.
Janise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved life, enjoyed baking and she was an excellent seamstress.
Janise died June 2, 2019 in Springfield, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gregg and stepmother Leona and Elsie Stacey and stepfather Ross; husband W.O. Tate and four sons Steven Tate, Russell Tate, Martin Tate and Matthew Tate; three brothers, Freddie Lee Gregg, Bob Gregg and Gary Ross Stacey; and one sister Martenia Acton.
Survivors include three brothers, Bill Gregg and wife Val of Branson, Leroy Stacy of Reeds Spring, Joe Stacey and wife Brenda of Omaha, AR; four sisters, Martha Klein of Brookline, Mary Jane Shepard of Aurora, Karen Badley and husband Alfred of Blue Eye and Nyoka Crowe and husband Jerry of Branson; six grandchildren, Billy Tate, Julie Downey, Angela Tate, Walter Tate, Austin Tate and Lyndsey Tate along with numerous great grandchildren.
