James "Jim" Jeschke Obituary

James Joseph (Jim) Jeschke was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on November 2, 1965 to John J. Jeschke and Joy D. (Blum) Jeschke.  He passed on to our Lord on November 12, 2024 due to complications from cancer.  Jim is survived by his father John Jeschke of Branson and 3 siblings, Jackie (Jeschke) Pyle and Husband Glenn Pyle of Branson, MO, Jerry Jeschke and wife Karen Nottle Jeschke of Branson, MO and Jeffery Jeschke of Hollister, MO, his nephew and nieces Bradley Pyle of Nashville, TN, Elizabeth (Pyle) Valdez and Husband Santiago Valdez of Chicago, IL and Paige Jeschke of Santa Cruz, California and one great Niece Megan Pyle of Nixa, MO. Jim is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends who loved him very much.  A memorial Service will be held on January 11, 2025 at 1:00pm at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory in Branson, MO

Jim was the youngest of John and Joy’s 4 children.  He graduated from Branson High School in 1983 and earned a bachelor of marketing degree from Southwest Missouri State University.  He was a cub scout as a boy and he loved canoeing, fishing, camping and hiking with his family, cousins and friends.  He worked for Hemingway’s Blue Water Cafe in Springfield, MO for seven years before becoming a hotel owner, laundromat owner and respected businessman.  Later Jim joined his brother, Jerry, in the J. Jeschke Appraisal service as a residential appraiser.

Jim had a fun loving personality and was always entertaining his family, friends, fellow patients, nurses and doctors who were so caring toward him during his illness.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.  Jim’s family would like to thank all who were there for them and him during his illness.  Also Jim would have liked very much to direct any donations, in lieu of flowers, to be made to the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in his sister-in-law’s name Karen Nottle Jeschke.
