James McCormick Obituary

Graveside service for James A. McCormick, 78 of Branson will be held Saturday, Aug. 24, 11AM at the Columbarium in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Martin Higley will officiate.  Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Mr. McCormick entered into rest on Aug. 19, 2019 at Cox Branson Medical Center, Branson.

James Allen McCormick was born November 14, 1940 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to C.A. and Margaret (Wurtz) McCormick.  He married the love of his life Patsy Ann Edwards on November 26, 1965 in Little Rock, AR. They celebrated forty-eight years together before her passing in 2014.   To this union they were blessed with two children. 

James was a Master Electrician.  He was a member of IBEW Local Union 295 and he worked throughout the country during his career.

James moved to the Ozarks from Greenbrier, AR over 20 years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy, his daughter Melissa McCormick; siblings Betty, Frank, Harold, Marie, Dorothy and Roger.

James is survived by his son Derek McCormick (Tiffany) of Alexander, AR; siblings Don McCormick of Houston, AR; Helen Brooks of Las Vegas, NV.; five grandchildren Donna Foreman, Morgan McCormick, Hayden McCormick, Logan McCormick and Hunter Dye; and one great granddaughter Maddison Boone.
