James Gregory Hawley was born August 14, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Raymond F. Hawley & Dorothy Kathrine (Sosebee) Hawley. He attended Holy Ghost Parish School and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in Florissant, MO. James went on to attend the University of Missouri St. Louis. He worked as a tooling specialist with McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis.
James was united in marriage to Mary Kimbrel on September 24, 1983 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Berkeley. He was a servant of Yehusha Ha’Mashiach, studied his Bible faithfully and was a Torah observant believer.
James moved to Branson from Farmington, MO.
James enjoyed many things. He was fascinated by conspiracy theories. He took great interest in politics and had worked alongside his father on city political campaigns. He loved Branson, playing mini golf and riding go-carts with his daughters. James was always ready to enjoy a good meal especially if it was made by Mary. The loss of his presence here will be greatly missed but we anticipate the day of a heavenly reunion.
James entered into rest on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his home in Branson at the age of 70.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Tabitha Tupper on October 9, 2017.
James is survived by his loving wife Mary Hawley of Branson; daughters, Amanda Hawley (Ronald) of Ozark, Victoria Glenn (Zachary) of Farmington and Tamra Hawley and fiancé Wyatt Hopkins of Columbia, MO; brother Ray Hawley (Mary) of Florissant, MO; grandchildren Tristian Tupper, Alexis Tupper, Josalyn Hawley, Temperance Hawley, Sawyer J. Hawley, Ezio Glenn, Liam Glenn, and soon-to-arrive, Maelyn.
