James David Dedmon was born to Gaylen and Shirley (Fleming) Dedmon on November 17, 1956 in Ironton, Missouri. Growing up Jim lived in several different states including, Missouri, Arkansas, Arizona, Iowa, California and Washington. In recent years Jim moved to Eudora, Missouri to be closer to his family.
Jim loved to hunt and fish. Jim struggled for years with his health, yet he still continued to hunt and fish with great joy and passion.
Jim entered into Heaven on March 27, 2021 at the age of 64 in Springfield, Missouri. Jim was preceded in death by both of his parents, and a great nephew. Jim is survived by three step children, Betty Reno (Andy) of Bolivar, Missouri, Bill Williams (Alicia) of Connecticut, and Jerry Williams (Tawney) of Tucson, Arizona; Grandsons, Ben Pederson, Sam Foster, Owen Williams, Aaron Foster, Alex Williams; Granddaughters, Ellie Foster, Meredith Williams and Teagan Williams.
Jim is also survived by Brothers, William and wife, Virginia Dedmon of Greenfield, Missouri, and Joel and wife, Mary Dedmon of Senecca, Missouri and sisters Deborah and husband Rod Epps of Kirbyville, Missouri and Cindy Skilton of Priest River, Idaho.
Jim is loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Jim to Jacob’s Ladder Hospice House in Springfield, Missouri.
