James Brennen Cantrell, known to all as Jamie, was born February 19, 1969, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jamie attended East Central High School, where he was an All-Star athlete in Football, and Track and Field; Jamie graduate as a two-letter sportsman in 1987. Jamie continued his love of sports and fitness for the rest of his life. Jamie was enthusiastic about his passion for nutrition and fitness by working out daily and helping others to improve their health.
After high school, Jamie moved to Branson, Missouri, where he followed in his father's footsteps in the profession of construction. He was a supervisor and ironworker in commercial construction in Missouri, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Tennessee.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Branson 2nd Ward. He spent the last years having a profound knowledge of the power of prayer, and the love of his Savior and Heavenly Father had for him. Jamie enjoyed being with his son, Alex, parents and younger brother, Sean.
Jamie suffered a massive heart attack in the morning after his 51st birthday and passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020, at Cox Medical Center Branson at the age of 51.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Pamela Cantrell of Branson; one son, Brennen Alexander Cantrell of Palmdale, California; brothers, Sean Cantrell of Branson and Jarrett Cantrell of Gaithersburg, Maryland and twin sister Kristan Thompson of Herriman, Utah.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 27, 2020, at 3:00 P.M. in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson, under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
