Jacob Berney, 40, passed away on September 4, 2024, in Branson, Missouri. Born on September 27, 1983, in Omaha, Nebraska, Jacob brought light and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

Jacob left the Omaha area and made his way to Berryville, Arkansas in 2015 to be closer to where his mother lives.

He was the beloved son of Elizabeth Suter (Mike) and Gregory Berney (Cheri). Jacob shared a close bond with his siblings: brothers Matthew Berney and Thomas Berney; and sisters Diamond Berney, Ashley Pira, and Chantel Armstrong, grandmother, Wilburta Berney.

Jacob’s life was enriched by the love of many extended family members—numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins—and a wide circle of friends who cherished his presence. Among them was his best friend and precious confidant, Robyn Nicole Woodruff, whose unwavering support meant the world to him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Helen Conway and his grandfather George Berney.

Jacob had a deep love for his family and shared a special connection with his dog, Wheezy. His warmth and loyalty left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

All though the date listed above for his passing is a formality, we are uncertain of the actual date due to the circumstances surrounding his death.
