Jackie Lorraine Scott Phillips

Funeral services for Jackie Lorraine Scott Phillips, 59, Grain Valley, MO formerly of Branson will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10AM in the Glory Barn, Branson.  Burial will follow at the Western Grove Cemetery, Western Grove, Ark.  Mrs. Phillips entered into rest Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her home. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

Jackie Lorraine Scott Phillips was born March 11, 1961 in Harrison, Ark.   She was the daughter of Jack and Lorraine Scott.  Jackie had received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Ark.   She was a marketing specialist, video editor, and a sales person for the Bordener Construction Company, in Kansas City, Missouri.  She married James Randall Phillips on November 21, 2020 in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Jackie attended the Glory Barn Church in Branson and the Blue Springs Baptist Temple in Blue Springs, MO after moving to Grain Valley.   She loved God and was a very active witness for the Lord.  Jackie went on mission trips to Jamaica and the British Isles.  She also had a heart for children and worked in children’s ministry along with being a part of Sidewalk Sunday School in Branson for five years.  She was a ventriloquist and Jackie and “Joey” would tell the children about Christ.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jack Scott.

She is survived by her husband Randall Phillips of Blue Springs; step-daughter, Mabel Rose Phillips of Springfield; and two half-sisters, Beverly Ward of Owasso, Oklahoma and Barbara Hicks of Harrison, AR along with numerous cousins and a legion of dear friends.
