Jack Sparks (82) of Hollister, MO passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2023, of natural causes.
Jack was born on July 22nd, 1940, to N.B & Lola Sparks of Jodie, WV. Jack was the eighth of nine children. After graduating from St. Albans High School in St. Albans, WV in 1959, he left home and enlisted in the Air Force. While stationed near Albuquerque, NM the same year, he met Joanna Foster and they wed shortly after in January 1963. They were the proud parents of three children, Christopher M. Sparks, Matthew A. Sparks and Carrie L. Sparks. Jack worked for United Airlines from 1966 to 1999 as a Mechanic then Inspector in United’s Jet Shop. After separating from Joanna in 1981 he married Lilliane Hines, September 21st, 1983.
Jack was firm in his faith and passionate in his walk with Jesus Christ. He loved woodworking and making items and furniture for his family. He loved fixing things with his hands and fabricating mechanical items in his shop. His best day was one spent outside running his sawmill and woodworking or fishing off his dock.
Jack returns to his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior to be rejoined with his parents N.B and Lola Sparks, his siblings Alan Sparks, Macel Ramsey, Raymond (Bud) Sparks, Maxine Russell, Loraine Dotson, Jerry Sparks, and spouses Joanna Sparks and Lilliane Sparks.
Jack is survived by his brother, Lloyd G. Sparks of Norman, OK, his sister, Peggy Lloyd of St. Albans, WV, his children, Christopher Sparks and Anissa of Branson, MO, Matthew Sparks and Scott Hindley of Laveen, AZ, and Carrie Mullen and Tony of Kirbyville, MO, his stepdaughters Marguerita Wheeler and Matt of Kissee Mills, MO and Ramona Hines of Forsyth, MO. He has five grandchildren, Megan Sparks, Nicole Nichols (Sparks) & Cameron, Alyson Sparks, Connor Hart and Sydney Hart.

There will be a celebration of life February 4th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. located at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
Graveside services will be at Dotson-Simpson Cemetery in Keslers Cross Lanes, WV at a date and time to be announced.
